Everything you need to know about installing and using the Liberty City Preservation Project

System Requirements

  • Grand Theft Auto V (Steam, Epic Games, or Rockstar Games Launcher)
  • OpenIV
  • ScriptHookV

Installation Steps

  1. Download the mod from the Downloads section
  2. Extract the downloaded archive to a folder
  3. Open OpenIV and open the Package Manager
  4. Install each .oiv package

⚠️ Important

Always backup your original game files before installing any mods.

Liberty City Preservation Project Features

Some features included in our mod include:
  • Complete map conversion alongside Los Santos
  • IV Vehicles with HD interiors
  • Pedestrian models
  • Original radio stations and tracks

Game Patches

  • Proper water swapping between maps
  • Increased various game limits

Common Issues

Game crashes on startup
  • Verify all mod files are properly installed
  • Check that ScriptHookV is up to date
  • Ensure no conflicting mods are installed
  • Ensure you are using the correct gameconfig.xml
  • Remove args.txt in your GTA V root folder

Server Requirements

  • FiveM server with sufficient resources
  • Fast SSD storage for optimal loading times

Installation for Server Owners

  1. Download the FiveM version of World Travel
  2. Extract files to your server's resources folder
  3. Add the following to your server.cfg:
    • ensure lcpack
    • ensure liberty_vehicles
    • ensure liberty_city_peds
    • ensure libertycity
    • ensure liberty_audio
  4. Additionally add the following to server.cfg:
    • increase_pool_size "LightEntity" 1000
    • increase_pool_size "AttachmentExtension" 430
    • increase_pool_size "CMoveObject" 10
    • increase_pool_size "OcclusionInteriorInfo" 20
    • increase_pool_size "OcclusionPortalInfo" 750
    • increase_pool_size "OcclusionPortalEntity" 750
    • increase_pool_size "PortalInst" 225
    • increase_pool_size "TxdStore" 26000
    • increase_pool_size "netGameEvent" 400
    • increase_pool_size "Object" 2000
    • increase_pool_size "InteriorProxy" 450
    • increase_pool_size "Building" 20000
  5. Restart your server

Testing Compatibility

When installing additional mods alongside World Travel:

  1. Install one mod at a time
  2. Test the game after each installation
  3. Keep backups of working configurations
  4. Check mod descriptions for known conflicts

  3. Backup your current installation
